A-Data was first established in March 2002 and has seen its market share grow year by year. After 20 years in the IT industry we saw an opportunity to migrate to the newly established digital CCTV market where we felt our IT background would serve us and market sector well. With the introduction of Digital recorders and internet viewing our experience proved invaluable and allowed many installers to do what was inconceivable 5 years previous.
Something we pride ourselves on and are now renowned for is innovation. We were the 1st company to bring in a low cost DVR which in hindsight was to revolutionize the industry forever. From this early infant stage we were always striving to push boundaries and offer the best technology could provide. It may not be commonly known but ADATA were the first company to release a DVR with integrated CD Writer, JPEG2000 compression based DVR and the H.264 Realtime DVR, all of the mentioned went on or are now classed as industry standards. A-Data had put itself in the history books once again.
From our humble beginnings our fortunes have changed enormously. We are now recognized as one of the leading distributors of CCTV products in the UK and Europe shipping to 25+ counties on a regular basis. With a QA/QC and full time evaluation team based in the Far East we are in a strong position to get the latest products at the right price and can ensure the quality is kept to a maximum. Along with top quality products we are without question the most competitively priced distributor on like for like product found anywhere in the UK.
Although we have seen significant growth over the years It has been a long and slow organic process, but one littered with experience making ADATA the chosen distributor of many. With our industry knowledge, unrivalled commitment to our customers, stringent quality control and ability to identify and offer route to market for new technologies the outlook for the future is positive and one of much optimism
